We will take you to Campo Croce, on the southern side of Monte Grappa for the start of the firt Hike. An unprecedented and really suggestive trail with unforgettable views over the valley and the peaks of the Dolomites, your sight will reach up to the Venice Lagoon, Berici and Euganean Hills. Up to the most beautiful take-off of Monte Grappa: the legendary Panettone Take-off.
FROM CAMPO CROCE TO MONTE PALLA
Starting from Campo Croce, the path no. 100 goes up steeply through the meadows of the Val Sacra up to Bocchetta Camol. It then continues on the right side (direction: South), at the foot of Monte Legnarola, crossing the path 197 (from Borso del Grappa). Then, after a short stretch of wood you’ll finally reach Monte Palla, and enjoy an excellent view.TO THE TAKE OFF “PANETTONE”, NEAR THE FAMOUS SACRARY OF CIMA GRAPPA
Hike in the meadows on the crest called “Sassi Negri” which connects Monte Palla to Monte Colombera (1449m), pass by some small depressions called “Saline” and continue to go North towards Monte Meda, until you cross the hiking path no. 80. The view is just magic: the Venice Lagoon, the valley, the Berici and Euganean Hills and, on clearer days, even the Apennines. A wonderful path that leads to the goal: the legendary take-off “Panettone”.
